This mixed-media collage brings together linocut printmaking, textile, and botanical monoprint, with layers of resin. Inspired by the natural landscape and place, this painting brings together texture, pattern, and organic forms to evoke a play between nature, memory, and the passing of time.
Each fragment or medium, brings together there own character, from the distinctive lines of the linocutto the tactile qualities of textile. These elements… overlap and interact, creating a layered surface that reflects the beauty experienced through nature.
This work explores a connection and a moment in time that we can never return to.
