There are moments when nothing is more important than truly observing the beauties of nature. In this valley the changing light has the effect of making the mountains appear on fire because of its intensity. The power of the sunlight changes the somewhat sombre feel of the rocks' surface into a brilliant shining element of nature. I love to capture these moments in my sketchbook.
