About this artwork
In this drawing, through repeated strokes and eraser strokes, I want to show a knot of energy, a network of converging lines that intertwine and intertwine on the sheet. The dark traces I leave behind accumulate, forming a palpable density, a moving mass that seems to vibrate to the rhythm of my thoughts.
I feel the vibration between presence and erasure, a delicate balance that gives life to the work. Each charcoal stroke becomes a breath, a breath… that animates the paper, giving it an organic dimension. In this dance between shadow and light, in this uncertainty, in this promise of a potential to explore. My gesture oscillates between control and abandonment, each line being both an affirmation of my will and an invitation to let myself be carried away by inspiration.
