In this drawing, I explore the boundary between what is revealed and what is hidden.
The central line acts like a fault line: it separates, but it also connects. It is in this intermediate space that I locate the essence of the drawing. Areas that seem familiar—a texture, a breath, a fragment of a body—while refusing to be clearly identified.
Hide and See speaks of the contradictory desire to hide and to show oneself, to disappear in order to… be better perceived.
It is a game of presences and absences, where the viewer's eye becomes the true revealer of the image.
