About this artwork
In this circular painting, I imagined a circle of colorful fish, like a living mandala. Each shape is simple yet unique, and together they create a fluid movement, almost a dance.
The center provides a point of balance, while the vibrant colors express joy and harmony. I also liked the idea that this piece, with its round shape, could become a lovely tabletop, protected by a glass panel, both decorative and inviting.
Through it, I wish to convey… a feeling of lightness and wonder.

Philippe Seigle, a painter based in France, has exhibited his works nationally, as well as in Brazil, Italy, the United States, Mexico, and Morocco. Having lived in several exotic countries, Seigle was influenced by and has kept his penchant for bright colors. Describing himself as a naive colorist, his compositions feature characters whose paths intersect. His vibrant pieces are created using acrylics on canvas.
