The work constructs a subtle tension between the visible and the implicit. The sequence—1, 1, 2, 3, 5…—is not merely a numerical order, but a model of progressive development, of proportional expansion. Inserted into a material, layered, and seemingly entropic pictorial field, this allusion generates a conceptual short circuit: order emerges from disorder, law insinuates itself into gesture, structure hides within matter.

Pietro Daresta is an experienced artist based in Italy whose paintings have been exhibited nationally, in France, the United Arab Emirates, and Monaco.
