About this artwork
In the creation of this work, I tried to capture the ephemeral play of shadows and lights, typical of impressionism, mixing the softness of colored pencils with the precise definition of the pen. This work represents a dance between reality and dream, where fluid shapes and earthy colors blend in an embrace of palpable emotions and sensations. Pietro Daresta is an experienced artist based in Italy whose paintings have been exhibited nationally, in France, the United Arab Emirates, and Monaco. His works explore the themes of humanity and its frailties, the passage of time, and the observation of the universe, where everything is destined to change. In Daresta's most recent compositions, he has developed a more personal artisitc approach, moving from the sphere of minimalism and the conceptual towards the informal.
