About this artwork
The title of this work refers to the universal flood, the work is inspired by Mount Ararat; the mountain that according to Genesis served as a port, after 40 days and 40 nights of rain, for the ark in which Noah.
The work is a dance of intense emotions, embodied in acrylics and pigments that collide in a symbolic realism. Each brushstroke is an unsaid word, each color is a sigh of the soul. This painting is a personal universe that invites introspection,… a deluge of sensations that will fill any home with energy and deep contemplation. It is the imprint of my passion, made to resonate in the heart of whoever observes it.
Sometimes, some of these works appear inhabited by a human presence. They are figures at 1:220 scale. The scale is a crucial part of the content of the work, since, thanks to it, it appears oversized. Nature is then revealed in its true dimension.

Pin Vega is an award-winning painter, sculptor and photographer whose works have been featured in solo and group exhibitions in the United States, Germany, Portugal, Belgium as well as in his native Spain. His Pictosculptures, as he calls them, are found in different collections around the world and have created a trend. His art brings to life the 'invisible forces of Mother Nature', using natural elements to produce a 'new natural reality'.
Pin Vega makes and carves the supports and frames for his own paintings. He also makes his own paints by agglutinating top-quality pigments with water or different types of resins and incorporates mineral elements and scaled figures to oversize his work and make us, the viewers, feel like we are contemplating it like a God contemplating his creation from above.
