The quantum world is an alien world for most of us. When I first delved into the area of quantum physics much of what I learned initially appeared confusing, almost irrational and yet with determination a familiar logic emerged – that of another order, another dimension of thought, one that resembled the evolution of my creative process in some ways. My position relating to any given piece I am working on depends on when, where, how and why I look…
at it. The work becomes a given situation for this brief instant, never to be relived in the same manner, except perhaps by chance.

Scott MacLeay's career is richly varied.
