About this artwork
The idea for the painting "Leap" came about after I sold my company. "Leap" represents a decision that doesn't stem from recklessness, but from inner clarity. It's a transitional state—vulnerable, courageous, and full of trust.
Here, water is not portrayed as a threat, but as a space for transformation. The spray envelops the body, not to engulf it, but to absorb it.
The red trousers create a deliberate counterpoint: They stand for liveliness,… presence and the will to remain visible - even in the moment of letting go.
This work belongs to the series "Fleeting Moments," which explores those moments when life is reoriented. Seconds that often seem insignificant, but can change everything.
"Leap" is an image about courage - not as a spectacular gesture, but as a quiet, determined movement into a new life.

Questions have always been a path of discovery and a source of strength for me.
Perhaps we don't always need to know immediately which side is the right one.
Perhaps it is precisely this space of possibility that I want to bring into our lives with my pictures.
This perspective stems from 30 years of experience as an entrepreneur and creative mind in my trade fair construction company, where responsibility, economics, structure and creative design and thinking were inextricably linked.
The space in between was and is my motivation, my source of strength.
I paint the space between question and answer.
