About this artwork
It's winter and my garden is covered in snow.
I miss the flowers, but now a beautiful flower painting hangs and brightens up my living room.
I like to mix figurative elements with more abstract lines and shapes. I'm not interested in a correct botanical representation, and I remember what my first painting teacher said: "You shouldn't paint the hyacinth, but its delicate beauty and the fragrance of the flower".
The painting is mounted in passepartout,… and please note the stated measurements are inclusive of passepartout. Of course it can also be sold without passepartout.
