About this artwork
In this piece, I wanted to capture the flowing lightness and, at the same time, the depth of the unknown. I made the colors myself from pigments and acrylic binder. To create optical depth by building up the work in very thin layers, and also to allow the colors to flow, I partially thinned them further with solvent-free flowable adhesive.
