About this artwork
"In this work, I wanted to open a breach in time.
The square format acts as a fixed frame on a world in perpetual motion.
Here, the material reigns supreme. I worked the paint in horizontal layers, as if to anchor the landscape to the ground, before letting my knife unleash the energy of the sky. What matters to me is not to faithfully reproduce a place, but to translate the tension between the solidity of the earth and the unpredictability of… the atmosphere.
The central pink touch is the spark of that moment: it represents that fraction of a second when light hits an object and changes our perception of reality.
"Window on the Moment" is an invitation to pause before the raw and spontaneous beauty of a landscape that is already transforming.
