In 'Long Shadow' I was thinking about those who suffered with long Covid and have taken a long time to recover at home.
In creating this piece, I delved into the intriguing play of light and shadow, inviting the viewer into a quiet, introspective moment. The contrast between the dark, expansive wall and the vibrant glimpse of nature through the window emphasizes life's dualities.
Outside is a communal garden in London. Painting on the wall; Bournemouth… beach July 20. Curtain design; Making sense of it all - sombre April 21. Blind design; Global citizen April 21.
