About this artwork
This semi-abstract digital artwork, is the result of a 'swalkeling' trip that I did in Paris, just after the Paris marathon.
Using my swalkeling finds, I explore the intersection of familiarity and the unexpected. A negative shape from a punch card piece lies ( which reminds me of Notre Dame cathedral ) beside a peculiar object with suckers on it, on a gritty surface, evoking a sense of lost or forgotten stories. This green, circular object contrasts… intriguingly with the randomness of the gravel, inviting the viewer to ponder its origin and meaning.
Together, these elements create a narrative that teases curiosity and invites multiple interpretations, enriching any space with a blend of mystery and playfulness.

Susie Wright is a London born artist and curator who lives and works in Germany.
