About this artwork
Suspended printed cotton threads on exposed chromaluxe aluminum print.
A misty forest track unravels into loose hanging threads that spill past the frame's edge. The image doesn't end at its border — it keeps falling, unfinished, into the room.

Natalia y Salomon Sutton is a Mexican visual artist whose multidisciplinary background spans filmmaking, photography, painting, textiles, and installation. She employs deeply handcrafted techniques—layering archival prints, thread, encaustic, oil paint, and hand-cut paper—to fragment and transform images, creating unique and tactile objects that defy digital reproducibility. Her emotionally resonant works evoke the tension between memory and absence, encouraging the viewer to slow down, look closely, and rediscover physical presence in a fleeting, immaterial world.
