About this artwork
Made in only three similar copies, each "Infinite Inside" is a unique work. Holes and details are made by hand, making each sculpture different and unrepeatable.
Symbol of interiority and neurodivergence, the Cat holds a hidden infinity, visible through irregular openings that reveal its enigmatic and changeable nature.
The holes and cuts represent life experiences that hurt us, but at the same time shape us. The tail, shaped like a question mark,… recalls the constant need to ask ourselves: why? Why do we exist, why do things happen.
Even at eighty years old — the Blue Cat seems to suggest — we remain beings of the "why", suspended between the desire to understand and the awareness that an answer does not always exist.

ThaBlueCat, a self-taught Italian visual artist, combines painting, sculpture and symbolic language in his art. He uses techniques such as expressive divisionism and the use of translucent materials such as blue PETG for his sculptures, often backlit to symbolize an internal consciousness. His works explore the autistic condition, symbolized through the figure of the Blue Cat, trying to express themes such as perception, isolation and acute sensitivity. Emotions of tension, attention, introspection and resistance pervade his work, a resistant art form that speaks to those who feel out of step with the world.
