About this artwork
This large-scale work is a striking example of abstract painting, created with acrylic paints on canvas. It is part of a series of works from 2004, when I was exploring the relationship between color, form and movement.
"Wild Flames" captures the untamed energy of fire in an abstract, dynamic composition. The intense red tones literally flow across the canvas, while black lines shoot up like sparks and smoke. The image represents unbridled power… and change and reflects the creative energy of fire, which creates new things and redesigns existing structures. It draws the viewer into a dialogue between chaos and order, heat and darkness. Like fire itself, it is wild, passionate and unpredictable - a moment of absolute intensity captured in color.
