About this artwork
This picture shows the beauty and drama of raindrops on a car windshield. The painter painted the background out of focus and the foreground, the raindrops, in focus. She wants to show the viewer which unnoticed sensations often play out in front of our eyes in everyday life. Ulla Kutter opens the viewer's gaze to this everyday beauty. She asked her husband to do a few laps in the rain to get as many good photos as possible of this situation. Then…
