About this artwork
This small oil painting shows the joys of summer: walking barefoot on the sand, relaxing on the beach, and swimming in the sea!
All of this is summed up in this painting. I had a lot of fun with the long shadows of the wooden slats on the warm sand. I painted it in two coats of oil paint. It's framed in a stylish silver wooden frame. This little painting extends the summer!

« The process of color-sensitive, soft, slow painting contrasts with the speed and indifference of everyday life. I take part of my surroundings and make art out of it. »
The perception of Ulla Kutter's environment is shaped by the focus on disharmonious compositions and their aesthetics. The German painter portrays the broken, chaotic, and shining aspects of everyday life in the city. Through her images, she creates possibilities for different levels of perception. Kutter paints using the traditional techniques of old Dutch masters, using oils on canvas.
