About this artwork
I have painted my ‘Ice Birds’ as a tribute to my Scandinavian origins. It is especially close to my heart as we are here looking at a hastily disappearing beautiful feature of our world. And the wild life, the amazing polar bears and many more awesome species, four-legged, feathery,….The dramatic scenery has a haunting beauty all of its own, and I strive to celebrate this in my own way by eternalising this ‘dreamscape’ on canvas. I am using acrylic…
colours in a mixture of hues, blues, turquoise, emerald green. I am hoping that those who view this painting will be able to follow me into the depths of one of my favourite sights in this my Nordic Wonder World - before it all disappears. ULLA 💚
