About this artwork
My painting ‘Wild River of Life’ is a truly inspired work of mine, and the title almost says it all. This is one of my most recent art works. As I am diving deeper into symbolism - like using e.g. trees as metaphors for people - I have to add this work (which is not specifically aimed at just Scandinavian memories) to express my personal feelings about how our world in general is developing now, In other words, my take on our world today. coloured sky, the trees (us!) weathering life’s storms, the wild river rushing by…This thought-provoking work is painted in acrylic colours on white canvas, and as its creator I hope that it will one day go to a lovely ‘forever-home’, to be treasured and enjoyed every day.
