With "Horse Without Rider(s?)," the final image in the series, I'm a far cry from the masculine, robust opening image. Poetry, a mysterious story, and a painting technique that's unidentifiable at first glance captivate the viewer's gaze. It's an old-master pencil drawing with white highlights and delicate ink coloring. Because it's not framed under glass, it has a strong immediacy and presence. The horse is an appropriation from my friend's photo… album. Because of its personal connection, it's also been crafted with particular care and detail.
If you purchase the entire series you will receive a 10% discount.
Wolfgang Eberhardt, a passionate painter, discovered his artistic talent through emotional experiences. His figurative works are created through careful use of charcoal, color pigments and binding agents, creating images full of magic and impulse. His art is a bridge of communication, with the aim of reaching the viewer deeply and triggering emotion. With love as his strongest force, he always strives to express true human feelings through his art.
