In this sculpture, I seek to capture human fragility and strength simultaneously. Made in plaster, each texture and imperfection expresses the struggles and beauty inherent in the human condition. This bust is not just a form, but a living narrative, offering a poignant harmony and a silent dialogue with the observer. This work is meant to invite reflection and enrich the space it occupies with its memorable and inspiring presence.
Caroline Champetier de Ribes is a sculptor and designer. Coming from a family of watercolor architects, she began drawing as a teenager, then a few years later, she began sculpting. She works with different materials: plaster, concrete and earth. She likes the raw and natural aspect of each material, which she wishes to preserve as is. She seeks to show through the very essence of each material, our own essence. This research is also found in his drawings made in ink and watercolor. His works, expressive and evocative, combine the poetry of materials and the echo of tales, revealing a deep and universal inner narration.
