About this artwork
For the artist, David Bowie definitely belongs in the "GENIUS" series. The man who fell to earth! The young musician appears in this scene like a being from another dimension, depicted in his legendary outfits. Behind a winner's podium, the view opens up of a white gate that he passed through in 2016, the year of his death. The artist chose the spider, a species named after him, as the animal symbol. On the left edge of the picture, a sneaker floats…
into the picture motif, it is the BOWIE shoe designed by Karl Lagerfeld. The picture has an exciting composition! It is EDITION number 1 (edition of 10) from the fine art print series. It is mounted and delivered floating behind glass in a white lacquered object frame. The original painting, measuring 100 x 100 cm, can be purchased at the HMH gallery in Mallorca.
