About this artwork
The Pianoplayer was created May 2024 in a residency on a manorhouse in east north Germany. I use the time to performe and to film the story of my grand grand mother. So a real history. This Self-Porträt is one of the scenecs out of the Videoartwork "When the cuckoo calls. 2024 I presented it first in Milano. 2025 I present it in Firenze.

Her approach is characterized by the fusion of traditional glassmaking techniques and diverse media, including printmaking, painting, performance, film, and photography. This results in spaces of transparency and lightness, reminiscent of early photographic plates on glass, reflecting space and time in color and form. Her works embody transience and evoke memories, offering a space for the expression of timeless thoughts in snapshots of fleeting moments.
