About this artwork
Parthenope is part of my Siren Digital Art Series, where I revisit ancient siren mythology through a non-figurative and deeply sensory language. In this work, I focus on the moment where myth meets human presence: a body shape rendered with tenderness, light, and vulnerability, held in suspension as it begins to dissolve into the surrounding landscape.
I am not depicting the hybrid creature of classical iconography, but the intimate presence behind… the myth — the warmth of skin, the subtle tension of a body between falling and yielding, the lingering vibration that remains after a call has faded.
For me, Parthenope is not a distant figure.
She is a threshold — a quiet passage between the world we know and the one that continues to call us inward.
