About this artwork
This imaginary work is nourished by memories of my adolescence, when I frequented live music venues where people came to dance samba or forró. There I discovered the beauty and sensuality of the movement of bodies, carried by the rhythm and energy of the music.
These deeply festive and joyful moments have profoundly influenced my perspective and my relationship with painting. Through this work, I seek to capture their dynamism and chromatic richness,… as a way of sharing these moments of life.
The scene also highlights the diversity of bodies and skin colors, reflecting a cultural mixing where differences fade away in favor of a collective experience, united by music and dance.

He adopts a contemporary approach while cultivating a deep connection with artistic traditions, mastering plastic principles and applying precise techniques to give form to tangible reality. Through his work, he evokes psychological tensions surrounding the human figure and its relationship to space, conveying a powerful emotional intensity about the individual experience in the modern world.
