About this artwork
Layers of fabric, folds, and overlaps create a silent landscape where matter becomes memory and gesture is fixed as a permanent trace. The surface recalls architectural fragments and worn walls, interior maps marked by invisible passages. The neutral, earthy, and dusty tones amplify the work's suspended dimension, while light burns and shadows suggest an event that has already occurred, of which only the imprint remains.
Part of my research on… contemporary material art and mixed media abstract art, the work explores the relationship between surface and space, between construction and dissolution. It doesn't describe a specific place, but rather triggers a mental journey: a fragile and layered territory in which to pause, read the signs, and imagine what has been.
