About this artwork
I use the figure (forms from my imagination) to explore what it feels like to experience uncertain, shifting times. The bodies in my work are caught between support and collapse, leaning into each other or breaking apart. Colour is as important as gesture, and here the cooler tones create space for reflection. What really matters to me is the constant tension between strength and fragility, freedom and constraint: the psychological space that exists…
between people.
