Screams of joy is created through the use of a sheet of plastic that the artist shapes through the application of fire and therefore combustion, thus creating three-dimensional tears of various shapes and sizes; some of which present openings that the painter associates with human faces screaming as in Edvard Munch's famous painting "The Scream" - in this case the meaning and what the artist feels during its creation is joy and happy feelings.

Gregorio Codagnone is a painter and sculptor based in Italy whose works have been exhibited nationally. Passionate about art in all its forms, he is inspired by architecture and the materials that "make up things". Codagnone's current sculptural pieces explore the concept of composition and decomposition, nature returning to nature. However, in his pictorial works, he integrates sensations and emotions that bind internal areas that are fragmented and distant from each other.
