About this artwork
When I finished these works, before I even got the question out "What are your names?" the answer came to me "Ek Onkar" which is a Sikh symbol that is used to represents the "One Supreme Reality" or "One God." In light of my current delving into my history present and past, my years studying yoga, and my own personal family religion, this makes sense that this would arise. I truly love this blue period that I am experiencing. I fully immerse myself… in BLUE! In this painting, I love employing abstract forms, and using acrylics and colored pencils to create a tapestry of interconnected shapes. I hope for the viewer it evokes a sense of intricate balance and harmony. For me this work embodies the complexity of emotions, capturing a moment of both contemplation and elation. And for you I hope it brings a vibrant, meditative energy into your space, inviting you to ponder the profound connections that bind us all. #religion #blue, yellow ochre, white #abstract painting #small paintings
