About this artwork
Maps and Legends is the name this piece gave itself. When the artist dialogued with her piece, it said, "look at me, what do you see?" And that is what the artist saw, pathways, notations, and more. The pinks and other colors of the work, are reminiscent of springtime and the artist was indeed thinking about that beautiful season. It is also executed on crescent board, which is a smooth surface and this piece is under plexiglass and framed if desired.… The artist loves the circuitous nature of nature and one finds many patterns in her work, she sees them everywhere in nature, in emotional states, in political issues, and ultimately as we don't last very long, she sees these patterns in the human soul as it ascends back into the cosmos and the body into the soil. #patterns #pink #green #abstract #nature #expressionist
Jaye Alison Moscariello harnesses water-based mediums like acrylic and watercolor, influenced by a creative upbringing and artistic journey. Through abstraction and intuitive color selection, she captures the interplay between forms, with lines that articulate deep-seated emotions. Her art resonates with joy and upliftment, transforming personal and worldly complexities into visual harmony.
