About this artwork
CIRCUS: A series of works featuring the Guinean artists of the Baobab Circus. I sought to immerse myself in their very precise gestures, first by photographing them in action. Then I reworked the photos digitally and with paint to create a series of pigment prints between mysteries and presences.
I created this work to capture the fleeting energy of effervescent movement. The intense light and blurred silhouettes embody the joyful chaos of a suspended… moment, vibrant with emotion and life. This blend of vibrant colors and indistinct shapes brings a captivating dynamic to your space, an invitation to feel the intensity of the present.
