About this artwork
CIRCUS: A series of works featuring the Guinean artists of the Baobab Circus. I sought to immerse myself in their very precise gestures, first by photographing them in action. Then I reworked the photos digitally and with paint to create a series of pigment prints between mysteries and presences.
This work captures the intensity of a moment in motion, where light and energy merge fluidly. I wanted to convey the ephemeral sensation of a breath of… life, a dance between shadow and light. By incorporating it into your home, it will instill a lively, almost electric vibration, recalling the power of the present moment and the irresistible momentum of action.
Marc Feld, a multi-talented artist, uses painting, photography, engraving, and digital art, and draws his inspiration from an education rich in art and theater. His technique, organic and vibratory, is based on the random encounter of a varied palette and the exploration of various media, continually seeking an alchemy between decision and non-decision. His works, transmitting an emotion arising from the pictorial material, invite us to feel the thickness of the world through a rich and vibrant palette.
