Questo lavoro è una riflessione sulle mie radici e origini persiane e le sensazioni che mi suscita. Ispirata ai tappeti e la miniatura persiana e tradotto in chiave astratta. Un fuoco sacro che da un lato distrugge e dall’altro purifica un’arte che rinasce dalle sue ceneri. Colori forti e vividi dove sovrasta un rosso vermiglio che riporta in mente il rosso dei tappeti persiani dove… simboli e animali mitologici danzano celebrando il fuoco.
L’opera è stata presentata all’interno del concorso dell’arte contemporanea Artkeys Prize ed è accompagnata dal catalogo della mostra.

Marjan Fahimi is a prizewinning Iranian painter born in Tehran. She currently lives and works in Rome. In her latest works Fahimi uses a more abstract approach, focusing on the main elements that characterize the poetics of the landscape. Painting with oil on wood, her works use solid natural hues to create calm, compelling compositions.
