About this artwork
Here Achezegag found in his workshop a face that he had created several years previously; before he adopted rectangular heads which in some ways became his artistic signature.
He made her a body whose color and patina contrast with the face. This character in turn becomes a hybrid, a sort of Terminator, an augmented man but whose rusty head bears witness to his age, his past.

« These bodies in movement, some in pain, end with hieratic, expressive heads, taking on a universal dimension. In the end, it is through the repetition of the gesture that my doubts dissipate. »
