Waiting for my husband to be ready to leave our hotel room I killed time by sketching my reflection in the mirror before me with ink. I was so thrilled with the sketch that I almost ruined our trip by wanting to get back to my studio to to a collection of unwanted watercolor paintings with their spots of perfect paint for my self-portrait.
