About this artwork
This is another of the abstract cave-inspired paintings. Anne lived in New Mexico for a time. It is the land of sunshine. In looking at the cave dwellings, she thought about relative light & dark. Going from the brightness outside, into the darkness of a cave, you are walking blindly at first. As the eyes become accustomed, you slowly begin to see what is before you.
