Concept and Narrative: The Geometry of Affection
"Polyamory" does not seek to depict an erotic scene, but rather an emotional architecture. The work explores the idea that love is not a closed unit, but a structure composed of multiple facets that fit together harmoniously yet complexly.
The Multiplicity of Faces: I designed the faces to share features and boundaries. One eye belongs… to one profile, but the curve of its cheekbone shapes the cheek of the other. This symbolizes interdependence: in a relationship of three or more, identities intertwine in such a way that it is difficult to say where one ends and the other begins.
The Calm of the Eyelids: I have sculpted closed eyes to evoke a state of deep intimacy and trust. There is no external gaze; all energy is turned inward, toward the emotional core. It is shared silence.
