About this artwork
This work was created on the Aschauer Höhenweg in the Kitzbühel district – one of my most familiar places.
It was a quiet afternoon, the sky gently tinged with the onset of evening. The path winds through the light, as if it were meant to lead not only through the landscape, but also to an inner destination.
The horizon is softly drawn, the shadows long. The valleys below are already shrouded in haze, while the last rays of sunlight glide over… the peaks.
I didn't just see this scene—I felt it. It reminded me of the promise inherent in every day: that there is a path that leads to ourselves.
