A body open to its heart, between fragility and strength.
L'Accroche-Cœur is a clay and wood bust sculpture that explores the intimate relationship between body, soul, and music. At the center of the chest, the void accommodates a sculpted heart whose shape evokes the stem of an eighth note: a vibrant symbol where the human pulse meets the musical rhythm.
The raw texture of the clay contrasts with the softness of the interior modeling, reflecting… the opposition between outward appearance and intimate intensity. The wooden base reinforces this tension between earthly matter and spiritual vibration.
Arthur Og, a polymorphic artist, comes from a musical background and trained in various art studios. He excels in the realism of oil painting, sometimes showing a leaning toward surrealism or abstraction, and explores organic themes in clay sculpture. Renowned for his music-related portraits, he brings scenes to life in period costume. His works, imbued with a vibrant exploration of the human body, gaze, and human expression, invite reflection on creation and the passage of time.
