About this artwork
This painting is about identity, who am I? Sometimes you ask yourself who you are: Am I speaking, or is someone else speaking through me? Who is standing in front of you? I wanted to depict this in a painting, and this was the first idea that came to mind. The painting was created using a watercolor airbrush technique. The many details were scraped out with a sharp knife or drawn with a very fine brush. The wooden frame is covered with silver leaf…
