About this artwork
“Cordis Sylva” combines anatomy, nature and digital sculpture into a poetic work of art.
I digitally modeled the anatomical heart and manufactured it using 3D printing. I then further developed it by hand, embellishing it with moss textures, organic surfaces, and intricate details. Stag antlers, ferns, and fly agaric mushrooms grow from the heart as if from a living forest floor – as if nature itself were emerging from it.
The sculpture represents… the primal power of the forest and our deep connection to all living things. Here, the forest appears not as a landscape, but as an inner state – a place of refuge, a mirror of the soul, a space for regeneration and growth.
“Cordis Sylva” invites you to explore your own inner wilderness and to understand the heart as part of a larger, natural cycle.
