About this artwork
“Cordis Revenant” is a sculptural interpretation of the heart as the origin of identity, consciousness, and transformation. In this work, the anatomical heart merges with a human form, becoming a symbol of return, change, and inner strength.
The luminous veins and piercing eyes lend the sculpture an almost living presence – as if something from the past were taking shape again. A tension arises between fragility and strength, captivating the viewer… and leaving room for individual interpretation.
The form was digitally developed and 3D printed, then further processed and refined by hand, finished with a genuine rust patina and finely tuned layers of color. The surface reacts sensitively to light, creating varying depths and nuances depending on the viewing angle.
