About this artwork
This painting is the seventh and final image in the Touched series. The series explores alienation from myself, through rupture and pain, to self-discovery and freedom.
The burden has fallen away, the heaviness gone. What remains is pure freedom—invigorated, light, full of the joy of being. Man rises, sustained by what was, yet unbound. Like a feather in the wind, he celebrates life: free, carefree, vibrant.
