About this artwork
This painting is the third in the Touched series. The series explores alienation from myself, through rupture and pain, to self-discovery and freedom.
For the first time, the gaze turns inward. The skin becomes the bearer of a story, delicate as parchment, sensitive and true. In touch with oneself, awareness awakens: I am here. I feel myself. A silent beginning of self-acceptance – fragile, tentative, yet full of power.
