About this artwork
This image is the first in the Touched series. The series explores alienation from myself, through rupture and pain, to self-discovery and freedom.
The image depicts a person as a shadow. A symbol of alienation from oneself. No longer able to feel oneself, separated from one's personality and hidden from the outside world.
