About this artwork
This artwork is titled "Harmony"
It is amazing how particular elephants are about dusting off the mud on the grass they have plucked, shaking off any insects there might be on them and choosing what to them must be the tastiest morsel of grass. These two youngsters were doing just that, the younger of the two probably learning how to do it from its older sibling.
As we were watching this pair, we noticed a shaft of light breaking through the dark… clouds and lighting up the horizon line. At that moment what struck us was the harmony in all things around us. Nature, man and animal - all brought together in that one moment and at peace with one another. For that brief moment we were enveloped by that feeling and have tried to capture that ethereal moment in this one frame.
