About this artwork
In my artwork, I attempt to capture the essence of free fall, embodied by the vibrant play of red and blue tones, representing movement and emotional depth. Using acrylic paints and a blend of realism and expressionism, I create an intense, quasi-abstract image that visualizes the tension and release during the fall. This image inspires reflection on personal freedom and the fleeting nature of the moment, while bringing a powerful energy to any space.

Ewa Mazur-Koj is a versatile artist who grew up in Poland and has lived in Germany since 2004. She primarily works with acrylic, oil and mixed media. Her fluid techniques mix realism and abstraction, with people often at the center of her work. Her metaphorically rich works focus on the individual, whose feelings and vulnerability are permeated by a subtle eroticism. They are the visual expression of an indescribable world of thought.
